Twenty-eighth chapter related to OpenHAB 3.

In this video we deepen the INFLUXDB database v. 1.8 used as an Openhab persistence engine, talking about retention policy and historical aggregations, with the aim to optimize the amount of stored data.

In particular we will see how to manage the historical depth of the stored data by going to delete historical data or by going to aggregate on longer time units to reduce the quantity and therefore the occupied space without going to lose information.

Then we introduce the concepts of Retention Policy and Continuous Query, native features of the INFLUXDB databases that in my current installation of Openhab2 I have never deepened and then applied, but for my next migration to version 3 I wanted to start using.

This video does not pretend to be a tutorial. The hope is that it will help someone.
