Home Automation System - OpenHAB 3 Migration - 22. Functional model [Versione in italiano]
by Marco Lamanna
Twenty-second chapter related to my OpenHAB 2.5 to OpenHAB 3 migration.
In this video I will show you how I am designing a set of hierarchical groups to create a modeling tree parallel to the semantic model, which I call "functional modeling".
This will help me to obtain aggregate information and to be able to carry out operations on multiple items at the same time, such as turning on the lights or checking the average temperature of a floor / area of the house.
As for OpenHAB 2, all this is done simply with groups and their aggregation functions that allow you to give a real value to a group of objects.
This video does not pretend to be a tutorial. The hope is that it will help someone.
